Shipments of Winning Colours Stain Remover to Italy Begin
Development marks progress from market research to in-store sales tests

(April 9, 2009) Assisi Italy - Winning Brands Corporation (Pink Sheets: WNBD, Frankfurt: WMU) www.WinningBrands.ca reports that the first of its European product Ambassadors who arrived in Venice 3rd Qtr 2008 is proceeding with Italian in-store trial sales of “1000+” - the name used for Winning Colours Stain Remover in non-English markets internationally.  The name 1000+ is used in non-English markets because of the product’s 1000+ stain removing and multi-cleaning uses.  Production of the Italian labelled goods has been completed today with the first shipment of 2,352 bottles of various sizes departing North America immediately.

Assisi, Italy is the chosen starting point for in-store placements in a variety of commercial settings for the purpose of gauging response by Italian consumers to the breakthrough cleaning solution from North America.  Pricing and signage strategies will be monitored and adjusted actively during the test period. 

Although the target applications for 1000+ business development in Europe will be paint messes, grease and grime (applications for which Winning Colours Stain Remover is gaining fans in North America due to its gentleness on skin and versatility) - a wider assortment of Italian test sites will be engaged in the process than in North America, where the initial focus has been in the hardware sector.  The participating service station shown in the attached wire photo illustrates the expansion of Italian test locations beyond the North American model - as service station convenience counters have not yet been part of the Winning Colours Stain Remover roll-out in North America.  In North America, a revised counter-top display box for the 4 ounce 12-pack is targeted for release 2nd Qtr 2009 for such broader point-of-sale opportunities, including the convenience store sector.  This will be coordinated to include point-of-sale material describing the inaugural Winning Colours Stain Remover $100,000 Sweepstakes which runs to November 22, 2009.
