Southern California Gets First Winning Brands Distributor
Inventory now in California for quick deliveries of Winning Colours Stain Remover

(June 17, 2009) Barrie, Ontario, Canada - Winning Brands Corporation (Pink Sheets: WNBD) (Frankfurt: WMU.F), manufacturer and marketer of advanced eco cleaning solutions, announced today that it has delivered product inventory to its first California distributor, XL Supply and Sundries of Anaheim. Approximately 5,000 bottles of Winning Colours Stain Remover in two sizes, as well as California’s first inventory of CLEAN1 Spray from Winning Brands are now on-hand for efficient deliveries to Southern California retailers. XL Supply is a specialized distributor of paint sundries, highly focused to meet the needs of select paint retailers such as Sherwin Williams, Dunn Edwards and Frazee Paints from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Previously, Winning Brands deliveries to Winning Colours retailers in Southern California were through out-of-state distributors and managed at a distance, which hampered growth.

“This development gives Winning Brands its first practical presence in California,” says Winning Brands National Sales Manager, Patricia Diane Miles. “Our emerging Brand Ambassadors Paul D’Orazio and Brandon Whaley, both residents of Southern California, are going to provide local support to help XL Supplies be effective in its new role, perform training and participate in select sales calls, while looking for new opportunities. Our presence in California demonstrates commitment. This will help us ramp up additional market sector openings and tests. It’s only the beginning.” Ms. Miles concludes.

California has long been in the forefront of environmentally sensitive issues relating to the use of solvents and chemicals in commercial and residential settings.  This and the fact that California would be ranked as one of the world’s top ten economies if it were considered on its own, makes local California working relationships opportune for Winning Brands.  The current economic climate has had less impact on painting projects than many other categories of consumer expenditure because houses and apartments continue to be painted whether they are put up for sale or renovated as an alternative to sale.  Winning Colours Stain Remover is gaining fans in the paint sector for its ease of use in cleaning up messes of all kinds associated with painting projects, without solvents, while being exceptionally gentle to skin and delicate surfaces, including upholstery, clothing and carpet.  Professional painters and artists also consider Winning Colours to help preserve the useful life of their brushes, almost regardless of the paint type used.

Winning Brands CEO Eric Lehner adds that the California paint store sector is only the starting point for Winning Brands in the state.  “It’s an outdoors’ state with active people.  It has the perfect climate for maintenance activities all year long.  Winning Colours Stain Remover has the dual personality of both a full strength stain remover as well as a highly economical and versatile multi-cleaner when diluted with water. We are well positioned to provide satisfaction to California’s 30 million people, indoors and outdoors,” Mr. Lehner concludes.
