Wine Stains Disappearing in the Caribbean, with
Winning Colours® Stain Remover

First Shipment to the Region Broadens Winning Brands’ Exposure in the Hemisphere

(November 20, 2007) Barrie, Ontario, Canada - Winning Brands Corporation (WNBD: Pink Sheets) www.WinningBrands.ca reports the first commercial order for its Winning Colours® Stain Remover to the Caribbean will be shipped December 2007.  Warner’s One Stop Shopping Centre of St. Kitts & Nevis will be the first retail location in the region to sell the eco-friendly stain remover, with broader distribution discussions as part of the arrangement.

The placement of Winning Colours® into the region addresses strategic developments in both companies.  In 2008 Winning Brands will  increasingly emphasize the “Stain Remover” capabilities of Winning Colours® which began testing as a multi-cleaner and is emerging as a particularly strong competitor in the technically challenging stain remover category.  Winning Brands’ goal for Winning Colours® is to become North America’s favourite stain remover, even outside the Paint & Decorating sector where it began.  Warner’s is interested in providing  consumers in the islands with a convenient effective solution to wine stains and the many other stain removing solutions that the hospitality industry of the region’s economy calls for. The use of this easy eco-friendly solution on wine stains is a helpful development for consumers in residential and commercial (food service) settings everywhere.    Winning Brands Sr. VP Lorne Kelly notes that the Caribbean is symbolic of the expansion that is natural when the word gets out about a good thing.  He says - “We have noticed that retailers are no longer just asking if they can carry Winning Colours® but also whether they can become involved in distribution”.   Kelly adds “The Caribbean market  is a mixture of developing-nation issues with first world product demand as well.  Our 2008 experience in the islands will contribute to Winning Brands’ grooming of Winning Colours® Stain Remover as an international product”.  “To have a convenient solution quick at hand for the drips, drops & disasters that happen in every day living is more relevant than ever with rising standards of living worldwide” concludes Kelly.

Winning Brands’ CEO Eric Lehner says that the export activity signals the growing value of the company’s brands.  “It is our goal by the end of 2008 to achieve placement of Winning Colours® Stain Remover into 5,000 stores in North America and the Caribbean with ensuing sales of approximately $7.2 Million for this brand alone within the first full year of such reach.  While no assurance can be given that this will be attained, we look to practical factors to assess whether it is plausible.   The Caribbean’s permanent population is approximately 20 Million, excluding Cuba, Puerto Rico and tourists.  It is natural that our arrival in this new region with its many connections to consumers and business people will help move us forward. ”  Lehner comments.  “Some of the cruise ships on which our new SMART™ Wet Cleaning Solutions are used on board to replace Dry Cleaning solvents are also starting to pass through the area” he concludes.    Winning Brands’ National Sales Manager Patricia Miles will be responsible for guiding the new listing through its stages of development during 2008.

Winning Brands manufactures Winning Colours® Stain Remover for consumer and industrial markets in North America and for export.  Winning Colours® Stain Remover is making news for being strong as a solvent, but gentle as soap.  This makes it easy to deal with complex stains with one convenient clean-up solution that is kind to skin and delicate surfaces.  The company’s mission is to replace hazardous chemicals in widespread use with safer alternatives.   Winning Brands’ full product range includes a variety of environmentally preferable cleaning solutions, including the non-toxic SMART™ Wet Cleaning Solutions alternative to Perchloroethylene used in Dry Cleaning, amongst others.
