Five Star Group Takes Winning Colours Multi-Cleaner from 19 Stores to 150 Stores in the
Region by 3nd Qtr 2007

(October 1, 2007) Barrie, Ontario, Canada -  Winning Brands Corporation (WNBD: Pink Sheets) www.WinningBrands.ca reports that the New York launch of Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner in Q2 2007 has seen the new environmental stain remover brand grow from an initial 19 participating stores there in April to 150 stores in the greater NY region by September 30th, the end of Q3. 

The strong listings growth reflects the activation of Five Star Group distributors for field visits and sales calls to the stores.  http://www.fivestargroup.com/index.htm   By achieving the targeted growth in NY Winning Colours® store listings, Winning Brands remains on-track for achieving the previously announced goal of a 5,000 store USA Winning Colours® retailing group by the end of 2008 within the 40,000 store paint & decorating sector.  On average, each independent retailer (such as the majority of NY stores) represents $1,000 per year in minimum targeted annual resale revenue per fiscal year at the wholesale level to qualify as a participating retailer.  Winning Brands management is targeting $5 Million annually for Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner from this sector by the end of 2008.  Winning Brands’ other targeted sectors for Winning Colours® Multi-Cleaner and Winning Brands’ other products are not included in this sales objective.  No assurances can be made that Winning Brands will achieve its goal, meet its revenue targets or realize significant profitability as a result of meeting its targets.
