Over time, we have earned a standing invitation to spend time in key partner stores, such as Lowe’s in Ohio, and connect with shoppers through live demonstrations. In fact, this weekend is such a time. From one store comes this typical illustration of why our lead product, WC 1000+ Stain Remover, is not just a “me too” cleaner.
Below these pictures, I’ve paraphrased comments about one interesting customer experience. There are others of course. The pattern is clear, Winning Brands has a winning product. Our goal is to become the favourite brand in our category one day – when millions of customers, just like this one, have had their own moment of truth.
Quick story: The man in the yellow shirt is a professional tree cutter. While we were doing demos, he was in line, across the aisle, watching us. He checked out at the cash register and came back, approached us and had to ask “what is this stuff?” Well, apparently, tree sap gets all over his skin and he has a tough time getting it off . He stated that he already uses a product, but it just doesn’t do a very good job. (Our) David had mentioned how he gets sap all over his own cars, due to the fact his driveway has many pine tree branches hanging above his cars. We asked the shopper if he had any sap on his arms or hands right now to show us, and he replied yes. So, we suggested to him that we make sure that Winning Colours can take it off his skin, before he buys a bottle. He found a spot on his arm that has been there a few WEEKS, and mentioned that he gets tired trying to get all this tree sap off his body. We proceeded to apply Winning Colours on a few spots on his arms - within seconds the sap was GONE! The expression on his face was like a kid in a candy store. He proceeded to buy his first bottle (and thought that the price was very reasonable) but asked us “What do I do when I run out? How do I contact you guys?” We replied, “Sir, Lowe’s sells Winning Colours. When you run out you can come right back to this store and find it in aisle seven!”. He was relieved because he thought that we were only there for a day, showing the product, and “that was it”. Now were all smiling, due to the fact that we made his day…!”
It’s amazing how some of the simplest things in life can bring so much joy.
