ANSWER:

Our prospective new importer of Winning Colours to Ghana was most keen to get started right away, however, as discussed in my post of December 12th, Winning Brands wanted to ensure that there would be no surprises at the port upon arrival.  We perceived that there were procedural details that should not get swept aside in the enthusiasm.  We therefore entered into correspondence with the Ghana Standards Board to ensure that there was clarity about the importantion requirements and the registration of the importer for this and future shipments.   We also obtained 3rd party verification of the accuracy of the MSDS sheet and similar “initial importer” clearances.  All of this seems to have been accomplished now, and the first shipment will be dispatched this quarter.  We are sending several pallets on this first round, rather than a container, for practical reasons as well.  These include the dimishment of risk, ensuring that the product in its current packaging travels well to West Africa by ship, avoiding excess inventory on the receiving end,  obtaining feedback from the marketplace, observation of the management of our brand in that setting, etc.   It is easier to send additional items again soon, than to deal with a surplus on the receiving end relative to early demand.   Below is the Ghana label for Winning Colours Stain Remover.  This departure of the goods will be described in a news release in due course.
